Job Description

Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including material handling and storage.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality products.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
Shift rejected material to the Blocked Warehouse as per Quality team instructions, both physically and in the system.
Scrapping the (blocked-scrap) material on time, ideally maintaining zero material in scrap WH, and regularly measuring daily/weekly based scrap.
Segregating scrap material as per category and ensuring on-time disposal.
Following up with scrap vendors for vehicle placement and loading.
Maintaining all warehouse safety standards, discipline, and implementing 5S practices consistently.
Managing and distributing vehicles for material movement and conducting perpetual inventory counts.
Palletizing quality material and staging it to production lines according to material issue notes or production orders.
Offering final assembly parts to quality and sending material from WH to shop floor while coordinating with planning.
Updating shortages and following up with purchase, and following up on the readiness status of parts with production and quality for on-time delivery.
Managing Raw material WH, Purchase part WH, General spare part WH, and replacing line-rejected parts.
Measuring cycle time for material feeding and preparing/maintaining Daily Work Reports (DWR).
Ensuring proper inventory management and reporting.
