Job Description

Job Title: Executive/Sr. Executive/AM Key Account – Logistics Job Summary

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, ensuring high service levels, and driving revenue growth. This role involves coordinating logistics operations, understanding customer supply chain needs, and providing tailored solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand clients’ logistics and supply chain requirements to provide customized solutions.
  • Conduct regular review meetings and performance assessments with key accounts.

Business Growth & Revenue Management

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets from assigned accounts.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze account performance and profitability.

Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Warehouse, Transport, Customer Service) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Resolve service issues, billing discrepancies, delays, and shipment-related challenges.
  • Ensure timely execution of shipments, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Develop account plans and strategies to enhance business with key clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client expectations.
  • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and business reviews for management.
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Key Account Management within logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations (road transport, warehousing, last-mile, freight, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
