Executive - M&A Tax

As an Executive at KPMG in India located in Bengaluru, your role will involve engaging in various corporate law related compliances for companies, including board meetings and annual filings. You will also be responsible for corporate law diligences for Targets of the Clients as part of their acquisition process. Additionally, your responsibilities will include implementing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) tax, and restructuring mandates for clients, such as share issuance, capital reduction, rights issue, buy back, mergers, demergers, dividend distribution, and share transfer. It is essential to apply basic knowledge of other relevant laws such as FEMA and SEBI to support compliance and advisory functions. Effective management of relationships with clients and team members is crucial, demonstrating strong people management skills. Communication at all levels of the organization with excellent proficiency will be a key aspect of your role.
