Executive Housekeeping

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Executive is responsible for supervising and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. The role involves team supervision, training, coordination with other departments, and maintaining quality control to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of room attendants and public area staff to ensure assigned areas are cleaned and maintained as per hotel standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas; report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping records including occupancy, maintenance, and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering teams for room status updates and maintenance follow-ups.
• Monitor stock levels of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials; ensure proper usage and inventory control.
• Train and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special preferences with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support in planning staff schedules, duty rosters, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in implementing new procedures, audits, and departmental initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in Housekeeping operations, preferably in a reputed hotel.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and people management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and linen management.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
