Job Description

Job Opening with Leading FMCG company


The role is responsible for Group Financial Analysis & Planning which includes inter-alia managing Group MIS & Short–term planning and quarterly/annual communication to the Audit Committee / Board on the financial performance of the Group. Providing support to the Investor/Shareholder communication team. The role would also be responsible for managing the Long term Planning (Annual Budget / Medium Term Plan) process for the Group.


Complexity of the role (Optional) : • Manage various facets of the Group monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis • Managing multiple stakeholders • Working closely with finance and FP&A teams across the Group


Financial Outcomes

Monthly reporting

1. Monthly Reporting of the Financial performance of the organization like Flash and FR.

2. Communication of performance of various markets by ensuring accuracy and completeness w.r.t data submitted in

BPC by the Business Unit by conducting hygiene checks.

3. Preparation of files required for reporting Flash and FR and release to the team within the Deadline

4. Managing other non-finance reports such as additional reporting packs and Market share data from the regions.

5. Latest Estimate – Preparation of Latest estimate on a monthly basis.

6. Commodity Analysis on a fortnightly basis.

Quarter / Year end Reporting

1. Preparation of Board and ACM Deck ensuring accuracy and completeness.

2. Preparation of quarterly database covering the financials of Group as well as the individual businesses.

3. Peer Companies Benchmarking and Analysis.

4. Preparation of Group’s Performance over time

Customer Service

Budget

 Adhoc Analysis – Adhoc Analysis on a continuous basis

Internal Processes

 BPC Support Supporting the Group on BPC consolidation process.

Innovation and Learning

 Interaction with peers and develop understanding of the overall organization and business.

 Innovating the presentation skills on a continuous basis.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

MBA Finance from a mid-tier college / CIMA

1 - 10 years of relevant work experience

FMCG

function would be good fit.

 Should possess good oral and written communication.

 Should be an expert user of MS Excel, Word and Power Point

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

 Should be comfortable operating in an International environment as the role would have interactions with business and

finance teams across the Group in various geographies.

 Strong quantitative and analytical competency with clear understanding of various financial and non - financial

performance assessment parameters.
