Executive - Collections

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving the collection process of receivables across multiple sources to reduce the total outstanding and associated average number of days. Your focus will be on maintaining client partnerships while effectively managing the debt situation. Key Responsibilities: - Keep track of the portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area and control delinquency, both bucket-wise and DPD wise. Focus on non-starters and take necessary actions. - Provide efficient customer service related to collection issues, processing customer refunds, account adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos as needed. - Ensure customer files are updated with contact times and dates, as well as information provided to customers about their debt. - Collaborate with the agency's tracing team to trace defaulters and assets, recommending appropriate action. - Identify defaulting accounts, investigate reasons for default, and maintain a healthy relationship with customers. - Engage sales and senior management when required to expedite the collection process, including supporting the collection manager in repossessing assets and seeking legal and police support. - Ensure compliance with all Audit/regulatory bodies, as well as company policies and procedures.
