Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef located at Grand Mercure Goa Candolim. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu design, preparation, and presentation of all food items. They will manage kitchen staff, ensure high-quality standards of food hygiene and safety, and monitor inventory and cost control. The Executive Chef will work closely with management to plan and execute events and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in culinary arts, including menu planning and food presentation
  • Proficiency in kitchen management, staff training, and development
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Skills in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
