Job Summary

The Junior Legal Associate will support the legal team in handling real estate\related documentation, agreements, statutory compliance, and legal coordination. The role involves drafting, vetting, and maintaining legal documents while ensuring compliance with applicable property laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation & Drafting

  • Assist in drafting and vetting real estate agreements such as Sale Deeds, Sale Agreements, Lease Deeds, MOUs, POAs, and NDAs.

  • Prepare notices, affidavits, undertakings, and legal correspondence.

  • Maintain accurate records of legal documents and agreements.
    2. Property Due Diligence

    • Support title verification, chain of title review, and document scrutiny.

    • Coordinate with external advocates for legal opinions and title clearance.

    • Assist in land due diligence and property documentation review.
      3. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

      • Assist in ensuring compliance with local land laws, RERA, registration, stamp duty, and property\-related regulations.

      • Track renewal of licenses, approvals, and statutory filings.

      • Support compliance documentation for audits and inspections.
        4. Liaison & Coordination

        • Coordinate with Sub\-Registrar Offices, government departments, and advocates.

        • Support legal processes related to property registration and documentation.

        • Assist internal teams (Sales, CRM, Accounts) with legal clarifications.
          5. Litigation Support (if applicable)

          • Maintain case trackers and legal MIS.

          • Assist in preparing documents for court cases and legal proceedings.

          • Coordinate with external counsels on case updates and documentation.
            Required Skills & Competencies

            • Basic understanding of real estate laws and property documentation.

            • Knowledge of Registration Act, Stamp Act, RERA, and local land laws.

            • Good drafting, documentation, and communication skills.

            • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files.

            • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and legal documentation systems.


              Requirements Educational Qualification
              • LL.B (3 years \/ 5 years) from a recognized university.

              • Enrolment with State Bar Council (preferred).
                Experience Requirement

                • 1 to 3 years of experience in legal documentation or real estate legal support.

                • Exposure to property registration and land documentation is an added advantage.
