Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for an Excavation Specialist based in Ahmedabad. The Excavation Specialist will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating excavation operations, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Daily tasks include inspecting excavation sites, operating machinery, overseeing safety procedures, and collaborating with teams to ensure timely project execution. The role requires precise attention to safety procedures, equipment operation, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Excavation and construction skills, including knowledge of excavation machinery, tools, and techniques
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, hazard analysis, and risk assessment related to excavation activities
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and technical documents
• Good communication and leadership skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions
• Relevant certifications or training in excavation operations and safety practices
• Experience in the construction or environmental services industry is an advantage
