EverestDX - Technical Data Analyst

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into data solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database schemas to support reporting and analytical needs.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring high quality and reliable data flow.
• Implement data warehousing solutions leveraging dimensional modeling, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to present insights effectively.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of data across systems.
• Automate data processing and reporting workflows using Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL scripting.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Partner with IT, product, and operations teams to deliver scalable data-driven solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain collaborative workflows using Git or other version control systems.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, schema design).
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (preferably SQL Server).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
  

Good To Have

• Python programming experience, especially for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytics (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (Azure Data Factory, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in data or analytics projects.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
