Events Assistant

As a member of the fundraising team, your main role will be to build positive relationships with your colleagues to ensure effective communication and team working. Together with the rest of the team, you will contribute to the strategic development of the department. You will be expected to attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and other relevant gatherings and committees. Additionally, you may need to take on tasks outside of your main responsibilities to support peak workloads, special events, and other activities as required by the fundraising team. Key Responsibilities: - Build positive relationships with team members - Contribute to the strategic development of the department - Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and relevant gatherings - Undertake tasks outside of main responsibilities to support the fundraising team - Support the Trust in safeguarding and protecting the welfare of all students - Comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, confidentiality and data protection - Maintain and develop your own professional knowledge and awareness - Undertake any other duties or tasks as required by your manager Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in a fundraising or similar role is preferred - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure - Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures is a plus Please note that this job description is not rigid and may be subject to change as required by the fundraising team.
