As an Emerging Talent Centre S&C Coach, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that ETC players undergo a physical performance programme that aligns with the club blueprint, fostering the development of high-quality athletes who are well-rounded, independent, and adaptable. It is crucial to create a safe, secure, and supportive environment for the players while also advocating for and safeguarding the women's and girls" game. Your key responsibilities will include contributing to the ETC blueprint by designing and delivering individualized athletic development programmes and group training sessions. The ideal candidate for this position must hold a BSc in Sports Science or a related discipline, along with UKSCA or ASCC accreditation. Essential qualifications also include FA DBS, FA Safeguarding Children, and FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football. Desirable qualifications may include MSc S&C, BASES Accredited Sports Scientist, and relevant coaching certifications. Experience in applied S&C within a team setting, particularly in female football, is advantageous.
