Job Description

The Event Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events from start to finish. The role involves managing event logistics, coordinating with vendors and staff, ensuring adherence to schedules, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and organization of events, including pre-event preparation, on-site management, and post-event evaluation.
Supervise event staff, volunteers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, equipment, catering, signage, and guest management.
Ensure compliance with event safety, health, and regulatory standards.
Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness in all event operations.
Handle on-site problem-solving and respond promptly to unforeseen challenges.
Communicate and liaise effectively with internal departments, partners, and sponsors.
Maintain detailed reports on event performance, attendance, and feedback.
Support marketing and promotional efforts related to events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree
2 years of experience in event coordination or supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools/software.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
