Event Coordinator – Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of events. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and organizing events, including corporate, social, and cultural functions. Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, décor, audiovisual, transport, and accommodation. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth event operations. Manage event registration, invitations, and guest communication. Handle on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown. Monitor budgets, invoices, and event-related documentation. Prepare post-event reports, feedback, and evaluations. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in event coordination (freshers with strong skills may apply). Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools. Event Manager – Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The Event Manager oversees the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of events. This role demands leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage teams and large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, planning, and execution of events (corporate, exhibitions, weddings, product launches, conferences, etc.). Develop event concepts, themes, and strategies in line with client objectives. Manage event budgets, timelines, and overall project plans. Source, negotiate, and manage vendor/supplier contracts. Supervise event staff, coordinators, and volunteers. Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and insurance requirements. Monitor event performance and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field. 0-1 years of experience in event management or project management. Proven ability to manage large-scale events with multiple stakeholders. Leadership, team management, and decision-making skills. Strong negotiation and vendor management expertise. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. Knowledge of event technology, digital promotions, and marketing tools.
