Job Description – Technical Support Engineer (EV Domain) Location: Multiple Locations (Pan India – Across Area Offices) Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview:- We are looking for passionate and skilled Technical Support Engineers to strengthen our dealer network and ensure superior after-sales support in the Electric Vehicle (EV) domain. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, telematics data handling, and dealer capability enhancement, contributing to both customer satisfaction and product improvement. Key Responsibilities:-Technical Assistance & Troubleshooting Provide remote technical support to dealers for complex and unresolved issues. Conduct on-site visits for advanced troubleshooting and hands-on dealer training. Failure Analysis & Product Improvement Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of failures. Share findings with upstream engineering and product teams to drive improvements. Dealer Capability Enhancement Train and mentor dealer personnel to enhance their technical expertise. Conduct technical workshops and refresher sessions. Dealership Technical Audits Carry out technical audits of dealerships to ensure adherence to standards. Recommend corrective actions and track compliance. New EV Product Launch Support Ensure smooth and efficient technical support during product launches. Assist dealers with new systems, tools, and diagnostics for upcoming EV models. Telematics & Data Diagnostics Analyze telematics data to diagnose issues and support predictive maintenance. Operate and manage the telematics maintenance portal for case handling. Battery Diagnostics & EV Systems Conduct battery diagnostics and health monitoring. Utilize telematics insights for data-driven issue resolution. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of EV systems, battery technologies, and diagnostics. Hands-on experience in telematics data analysis and portals. Solid expertise in troubleshooting, RCA, and corrective action planning. Ability to conduct technical training and dealer audits. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Flexibility to travel extensively across Pan-India dealer locations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering (or related field). 3–8 years of experience in technical support, diagnostics, or after-sales service (preferably in EV/automotive). Exposure to dealer support and product launch activities preferred. Knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and EV powertrains is an added advantage.
