Role : End User Computing - Image & Patch Management ( Scripting)

JD:

Image Management

• Expertise in creating an Image for specified client hardware using Wise Script Editor, Power Shell Scripting, VB Script, Batch Scripts
• Develop Operating System Image process for various Client Device hardware as specified in solution specifications.
• Create and document installation and configuration instructions for agreed components.
• Planning, creating, documenting, archiving, and maintaining Images for OEM-provided software and configurations deployed as part of the service.
• Planning, implementing, and documenting End User acceptance testing for Images.
• Documenting requirements for new Image release; Maintaining quality control checklists for new Image release; Managing Customer approval cycle for Image release; Maintaining Asset management for the evaluation and testing hardware; Communicate to the appropriate OSS team on the latest images with relevant updated document.
• Troubleshooting the image deployment failures and provide the solution.
• Coordinate with the Hardware vendors for the specified drivers and any queries.
• Maintain the Image release process as per customer requirement.
• Manage the HW assets in the Interoperable Lab at the client location
• Manage the access control to the Interoperable Lab at client location to Business users to test the Image/MS Security patch/Business application.
• Co-ordinate with Offshore team to build test devices to support Application Packaging services / Patch management process.

Patching

• Experience on the Microsoft Patching / Third party software parch release using, ECM and CMG
• Experience on Hardware/software inventory maintenance.
• Experience in Patch installation, keep evidence of installation, and report to Customer monthly.
• Experience in Planning and implementing patch management.
• Testing Images with the Patch Releases and Service Pack Releases.
• Developing packages to remove disruptive patches for distribution as required.
• Experience in testing and remediating patch packages.
• Prepare documentation for patches and provide monthly patch status report.
