About the Role

ETF Content Writer and Social Media Manager

This role is designed to be flexible, offering part-time, full-time, or temporary-to-permanent arrangements, depending on the candidate’s availability and fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:

    Write and edit high-quality articles, reports, newsletters, and social media posts related to ETFs, thematic investing, and asset allocation.
  • Social Media Management:

    Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase engagement and grow our digital presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and other relevant platforms.
  • Newsletters:

    Plan, write, and manage investor-focused newsletters, ensuring high open and engagement rates.
  • SEO & Analytics:

    Optimize content for SEO and track performance using analytics tools to refine strategy.
  • Data Visualization:

    Create and integrate compelling visuals, including charts and graphics (experience with

    Datawrapper

    is a strong plus).
  • Editorial Calendar:

    Manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely publication.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the leadership team to align content strategy with business objectives and brand voice.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience writing about financial topics, preferably ETFs, mutual funds, asset allocation, or thematic investing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex investment concepts.
  • Familiarity with

    SEO best practices

    and keyword optimization.
  • Experience managing

    social media accounts

    for financial or professional brands.
  • Newsletter writing and management experience (Substack, Mailchimp, or similar platforms).
  • Knowledge of

    Datawrapper

    or similar visualization tools (preferred).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under flexible arrangements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is a plus.

Work Arrangement

  • Part-Time Option:

    10–15 hours per week (ideal for freelancers or professionals seeking supplemental work).
  • Full-Time Option:

    Available for candidates seeking a permanent, expanded role.
