Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposals & Estimation Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the fabrication and construction industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender submissions in accordance with client requirements and company capabilities.

The role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for fabrication, erection, and construction projects including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.

- Develop and prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.

- Conduct site visits (if required) to assess conditions and gather data for estimation.

- Coordinate with engineering and procurement departments for obtaining technical inputs and vendor quotations.

- Maintain a database of suppliers, materials, labor rates, and project cost histories.

- Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications during the estimation process.

- Ensure timely submission of proposals and bids to clients.

- Support negotiation meetings and respond to client queries related to submitted proposals.

- Assist in post-tender clarifications, revisions, and contract award processes.

- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• work with EPC contractors or fabricators.: 2 years (Required)
