Role Overview:

Equity Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial and strategic research on public companies
• Analyze quarterly results, concall transcripts, annual reports, and investor presentations
• Prepare company research articles in a narrative storytelling format (with data-backed insights)
• Create investment one-pagers with clear takeaways, financial summaries, and business models
• Track company-specific updates (earnings, regulatory changes, capex plans, risks)
• Collaborate with the editorial and design team to publish final research outputs
• Ensure absolute accuracy and data integrity across every published output

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interest in equity markets, investing, and business analysis
• Basic understanding of financial statements and company valuation
• Excellent written English and the ability to explain complex topics simply
• A keen eye for detail, curiosity for digging deeper, and a love for storytelling with data
• Familiarity with tools like Excel/Sheets, PDF readers, and financial portals
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under tight deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field (or final-year student)
• MBA, CFA Level 1, or similar credentials (preferred but not mandatory)
• Freshers welcome, training will be provided

Compensation:

• ₹20,000/month

  during 6-month probation period
• On confirmation, revised compensation and full-time permanent position
