Job Summary:

The Equity Dealer is responsible for executing equity trades on behalf of clients or the firm, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant order execution in stock markets. The role involves working closely with Directors , research analysts, and clients, while staying abreast of market trends and ensuring optimal trade execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Execution:

• Execute buy/sell orders for equities and equity-related instruments across exchanges.
• Ensure best execution practices while adhering to internal and regulatory guidelines.

• Order Management:

• Manage and monitor client orders through the order management system (OMS).
• Ensure accurate and timely order processing and trade confirmation.

• Market Analysis:

• Monitor stock market trends, liquidity, and price movements.
• Provide real-time market insights to portfolio managers and clients.

• Risk Management & Compliance:

• Adhere to compliance regulations, including market conduct, trading limits, and reporting obligations.
• Ensure KYC/AML compliance for all client trades.

• Client Interaction:

• Communicate with clients regarding order status, trade execution, and market updates.
• Coordinate with back-office and settlement teams to resolve trade discrepancies.

• Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of all trades, client interactions, and market research.
• Generate daily/weekly reports on trade activity, positions, and market performance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Certification in NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) (Mandatory).
• Proven experience in equity dealing/trading (1– 3 years or more).
• Strong understanding of capital markets, equity instruments, and trading systems.
• Proficiency with trading platforms (ODIN terminal, NEST, NOW, XTS).
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple trades simultaneously.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
