The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects. Location: Navi Mumbai Responsibilities include: - Feed and Detail Engineering activities, Cost Estimate - Coordinating multi-discipline, multi-office project activities - Handling a team consisting of Piping Engineers and Designers - Preparation of Equipment layouts and plot plan - Review of Client requirements, ITB - Handling S3D, Plant 3D Projects - Coordinate Material Take-off (MTO) activities at various stages of the project and control overall MTO till mechanical Completion You will be responsible for all piping deliverables, ensuring quality, productivity, schedule, and budget adherence. Additionally, you will be involved in manhour estimation, manpower planning, progress measurements and tracking, identifying changes with respect to scope and budget, performing squad checks, interdisciplinary coordination, and client coordination. As a BIM Modeler at The AEC Associates, your essential duties and responsibilities will include: - Developing detailed 3D MEP models using Autodesk Revit for As-Built, Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documentation (CD) phases. - Collaborating with the broader project team to ensure accurate and complete modeling and documentation. You will also be responsible for ensuring quality assurance by: - Adhering to both internal and client-specific quality standards. - Delivering CAD/BIM models, drawings, and documentation with minimal oversight, maintaining accuracy and consistency. Team collaboration is key in this role, as you will: - Coordinate and work closely with Intermediate/Senior Architects, Engineers, Project Leaders, and Project Managers. - Self-manage assigned tasks to ensure timely, error-free deliverables. Your technical expertise should include: - Strong understanding of international construction systems, particularly for US and Middle East (ME) markets. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, especially Revit MEP. - Ability to produce Electrical service drawings including ELV, LV, and lighting layouts, along with as-built drawings. - Capable of preparing single-line diagrams and equipment layouts. - Experience in running 3D coordination for ASMEP systems using Revit and Navisworks. - Familiarity with architectural and engineering design processes, both in-studio and on-site. - Ability to think creatively and solve design challenges innovatively. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Preferred Education and Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. - 8-12 years of relevant experience in the AEC industry, specifically in design and documentation. - Hands-on experience with Revit MEP, Autodesk Navisworks, HVAC Design Tools, Civil 3D, Energy Analysis Tools. - Proven track record of delivering new construction and renovation projects. - Proficiency in developing Revit-based 3D families and 2D detail components. - Familiarity with the creation of coordinated MEP CD sets and 2D MEP coordination drawings. You will work in coordination with Analytical Engineers & / or Sr. Designer on Process Gas & Liquid projects, assignments such as Designing, Drafting, Bills of Materials to meet Analytical project requirements meeting project schedule. Each drawing package must contain precise details specifying dimensions, codes, materials, customer interface details, utility connections & area classification. Your responsibilities will include following specifications and calculations to build various technical drawings such as System Flow, P&ID, General Arrangement, Electrical Wiring, Probe Installation drawings, Network architecture diagrams, Mounting and fabrication drawings, interface / utility connections, Bill of Material etc. Deliver drawings and designs on time, strictly meeting Emerson's outstanding quality standards. Develop system designs from scratch or starting from proven references. Assist in maintaining a strong reference database for quick referencing, and crafting/maintaining tools like symbol libraries for efficiency enhancements. Ensure system designs meet required specifications, standards, safety, and hazardous area requirements. Estimate Enclosure/Plate/Shelter dimensions, orientations, and equipment layouts with space and volume optimization. Ensure the equipment layout is done with maintainability, accessibility, aesthetics, safety, operability, quick removal and installation possibility, and equipment clearances without obstructions. Adhere to regulations, industry standards, and codes. Be aware of different drafting techniques like 1st angle and 3rd angle methods. Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD with efficient and good drafting practices. Follow a checklist for self-review of drawings before squad check review, peer reviewing drawings, and following feedback/comments received. Identify potential operational issues and redesign systems to improve functionality, including lessons learned in the past. Adhere to PMO processes. You are expected to anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond expectations. Facilitate open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and customers. Deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. For this role, you will need a Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical/Electronic/E&TC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent work experience with relevant exposure to an analytical design environment. Extensive knowledge of and experience with CAD tools like AutoCAD (2D/3D), Solid Works (3D), etc. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field of Analytical, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil and Gas, Power, Fertilizer Process Industry. Practical experience with analytical systems is an advantage. Knowledge of analytical system components like tubing, fittings, valves, flanges, probes, coolers, pumps, analyzers, gas chromatographs, liquid analyzers. Knowledge of CEMS, SWAS, Process Gas Analyzers Sample Conditioning systems, Plate, Rack, Cabinet, Shelter mounted systems. Proficiency in English language skills - verbal and written. Role Overview: The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager/ AGM Electrical Engineering will be responsible for handling end-to-end detailed electrical engineering design for Data Centre projects. The role demands strong technical expertise in electrical systems, design software proficiency, and prior experience in Data Centre infrastructure development. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute detailed engineering activities for electrical systems in Data Centre projects. Prepare equipment layouts , section drawings , and cable routing diagrams using Revit or similar design software. Conduct electrical design calculations including overall and individual earthing , HT/LT cable sizing , and lighting calculations . Develop comprehensive electrical layouts including: Earthing layout Cable tray layout Termination schedule Bus duct layout Lighting and lightning protection layout Switchgear arrangement and fixing details Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integration of electrical systems into overall project design. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. Desired Candidate Profile: Strong academic background in Electrical Engineering (Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech). Mandatory experience in handling detailed engineering work for Data Centre projects . Proficiency in Revit and other electrical design software tools is essential.
