Sr. Engineer - Electrical Design

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute electrical design activities for Oil & Gas projects (FEED and detailed engineering phases).
• Prepare and review design deliverables such as single line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, equipment layouts, schematics, and material take-offs.
• Perform electrical system studies load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protection coordination using ETAP or similar tools.
• Develop specifications and datasheets for major electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS, lighting, earthing, etc.).
• Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
• Interface and coordinate with process, instrumentation, civil/structural, and mechanical teams.
• Support procurement activities and provide technical clarifications to vendors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, IS, API, NEC, etc.).
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and designers in the electrical discipline.
• Participate in design reviews (3D model, HAZOP, HAZID) and client/consultant meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sector.
• Experience with EPC projects is must..
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
