AutoCAD 2D Piping Designer

Role Overview: As a Piping Designer, you will be responsible for preparing 2D piping layouts, isometric drawings, and piping support drawings. Your role will involve studying and interpreting P&IDs, equipment layouts, and plant layouts to develop Material Take-Offs (MTO) from drawings. Additionally, you will prepare hook-up drawings, termination drawings, and loop drawings while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME B31.1 / B31.3 / IBR and client specifications. Coordination with engineering and site teams for drawing updates and modifications will also be part of your responsibilities. It is essential to maintain drawing records and documentation as per project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation of 2D piping layouts, isometric drawings, and piping support drawings - Study and interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, and plant layouts - Develop Material Take-Offs (MTO) from drawings - Prepare hook-up drawings, termination drawings, and loop drawings - Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and client specifications - Coordinate with engineering and site teams for drawing updates and modifications - Maintain drawing records and documentation as per project requirements Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD 2D piping design within the Oil & Gas industry - Strong knowledge of P&IDs, piping isometrics, and piping layout, equipment layouts, drawings - Hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of Plant 3D / SP3D / PDS is an added advantage - Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry codes and standards - Excellent drafting and detailing skills with accuracy and attention to detail - Immediate joining availability Please note that the job is on a 1-year contract basis, extendable based on project requirements.
