Environmental Social Governance

Parul University is seeking a dynamic and committed professional in ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) to support and institutionalize sustainability, ethical governance, and social responsibility across the university ecosystem. The role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and monitoring ESG initiatives aligned with national practices, accreditation requirements, and sustainability frameworks. The incumbent will work closely with academic, administrative, and external stakeholders to embed ESG principles into teaching, research, campus operations, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement ESG and sustainability initiatives aligned with university goals, NAAC, UGC, and national practices.

· Support leadership in ESG planning, risk management, compliance, and ethical governance.

· Lead environmental sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency, waste and water management, biodiversity, and green campus development.

· Promote social responsibility through DEI initiatives, student and staff well-being, community engagement, and outreach programs.

· Integrate sustainability into academics, research, and student activities.

· Monitor ESG performance, conduct assessments, and prepare sustainability/ESG reports for accreditations and audits.

· Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to strengthen ESG implementation.

· Conduct training and awareness programs to build a culture of sustainability and responsible practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:

Advanced degree or certifications

Experience:

Minimum 7 years

· Experience in an academic institution, public sector, or large organization will be an advantage.
