Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist located in Baddi. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing workplace safety, implementing health and safety procedures, and promoting a culture of safety among employees. Key tasks include monitoring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards, conducting safety training programs, and ensuring occupational health measures are in place. The role also involves identifying risk factors and preventing potential safety hazards in the work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and statutory practices of Himachal Govt related to safety
• Expertise in Health & Safety, including occupational health regulations and practices
• Proficiency in Workplace Safety protocols and Safety Training
• Ability to assess risks, implement safety measures, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills for conducting training and safety briefings
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or other safety-related qualifications are preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar EHS role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector
