Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for the Head of the English Department (English HOD). The responsibilities include designing and overseeing the English curriculum, guiding and mentoring English teachers, fostering a collaborative teaching environment, and ensuring high academic standards in the subject. The English HOD will also be required to conduct training sessions for staff, facilitate communication with parents and other stakeholders, and actively contribute to the school's goals for student excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in English Teaching and the ability to develop an engaging curriculum.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to mentor teachers and interact with stakeholders.
• Experience in Training and capacity-building for educators.
• Proficiency in Translation and related skills to support various academic and extracurricular activities.
• Customer Service mindset to address the needs of students and parents effectively.
• Relevant teaching qualifications, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or Education.
• Cambridge experience is an added advantage.
• Previous leadership experience in an education setting is desirable.
