Summary:
Engineering Systems IT Support .Critical Power Segment Reporting directly to Engineering Systems IT Manager and taking direction from them.
What a typical day looks like:
- Maintaining our Engineering IT services and ensuring they remain operational, performant, supported, fit-for-purpose and meeting the needs of our end users Support in managing deployment solution including building, testing and debugging future packages.
- Efficiently progress tickets within platform in the delivery of incident resolution, problem management, and request tickets relating to installs, patching and upgrades.
- Being proactive in ensuring all end users devices are fully patched and compliant with latest controlled software release.
- Assist in technical support activities and carry out agreed or routine maintenance and administration tasks Provide assistance, alongside other teams, with the project delivery of new and enhanced services Occasional work may be required outside of core business hours to support major projects / programme.
- Support in collaboration with other IT teams on shared server and IT responsibilities Support on server tasks as assigned by manager Install software and maintain software portals Manage IT collections Support end users with investigating any IT related topic.
- Attributes: Knowledge of Autodesk applications. Knowledge of PDM, PLM, ERP platforms
- Experience using deployment and inventory SCCM tools such as PDQ Win10/11, Server 2019 and IOS knowledge
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural and geographically distributed team Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
