About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Manager / Technical Specialist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This multifaceted role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in control systems (DCS, SIS both Hardware and software), PLC /SCADA project execution, and cross-functional technical support.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing control systems , as well as supporting global engineering environments and troubleshooting complex technical issues . Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our systems and operations across the global network.
Key Responsibilities
Control Systems Design & Implementation
- Lead the configuration, design, development, and testing of Control Systems and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) as per project requirements .
- Develop and implement robust control strategies to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Interface with 3rd party system and High-level application like Historian, PI ,Alarm management etc.
Technical Leadership & Support
- Support project FEED activities
- Reviewing the Customer Project Contractual, Technical, product Specification, and Standard requirements.
- Act as a technical specialist/Engineering Manager and point of contact for cross-departmental coordination.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex system issues.
- Facilitate and maintain standardized engineering environments for global teams.
- Coordination with Lead Project Engineer for technical interface.
- Knowledge on Cyber security applications.
- Knowledge on IEC, ISA ,ISO standards .
- Coordination with Document Controller for Control of Project documentation and QC Engineer for Inspection and Testing related activities.
- Arranging Internal Meetings for achieving Project milestones.
- Project Progress Monitoring and control.
- Adhering to the Project Schedule & Project Quality Plan and manage the project cost.
- Preparation of Scope of work deviations and tracking.
- Participating and managing acceptance test (Pre -FAT and FAT), commissioning and start-up activities.
Engineering Management
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage all technical and commercial aspects of control system projects, from procurement through commissioning.
- Estimation and Planning of Manpower and Materials for entire Project.
- Review of Project Purchase Order Requests.
- Coordination with vendors and subcontractors for technical and other issues for meeting the delivery schedule.
- Preparation and review of Project Monthly Progress Report.
- Attending the Customer Project Progress review meeting.
- Project Progress Monitoring & Reporting. Project Costing and Co-ordination.
- Preparation of Project Budget and Cost Control System. Arrangement of Resources.
- Coordination with Customer Project Manager/Engineers for Commercial and technical issues.
- Review and approval of Scope of Work deviations.
- Prioritization of Project team activities based on customer and Management requirements.
- Compilation and submission of Change Orders / Waivers / Concessions.
- Preparation of Project Summary, Risk Register and updating on regular basis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Instrumentation or electronics Engineering.
- Proven experience in control systems Feed, engineering, including DCS/SIS/PLC programming and HMI development and Testing.
- Solid background in project management and cross-functional technical coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally integrated environment.
- Minimum 12+ years experience in the field of Control System including Application Software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multinational engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider Electric platforms).
- Knowledge of international engineering standards and practices.
