Employment TypeFull-timeJob descriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and drive high-performing engineering teams delivering enterprise-grade, scalable fintech solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and ship robust software while ensuring adherence to best engineering practices, project timelines, and product goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple projects and sprintsDrive the development and delivery of scalable, event-driven microservices using Java Spring BootCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders – product, QA, infrastructure – to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancementsOwn the engineering execution – from architecture to deployment – for critical fintech applicationsAct as a technical advisor to team members; support code reviews, solutioning, and hands-on problem resolutionImplement and advocate Agile practices (Scrum/SAFe), ensuring continuous delivery and improvementOversee integrations with banking systems, third-party APIs, and financial platformsLead hiring efforts, mentoring, performance reviews, and team upskillingManage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines across ongoing initiativesMaintain high engineering standards for code quality, security, scalability, and performanceRequirements & Qualifications:Proven experience in engineering management or tech lead roles in high-growth environmentsStrong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservice architectures, and event-driven systemsSound architectural judgment for designing scalable, fault-tolerant backend systemsSolid grasp of Agile methodologies including Scrum or SAFe Agile frameworksExcellent people management and team-building capabilitiesOutstanding communication and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with system integration patterns, REST APIs, message queues, and cloud-native technologiesBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityPrior experience in Fintech or BFSI domains is highly preferredPreferred Certifications:PMP, Prince2, CAMP, or PMI-Agile CertifiedAWS or Azure Cloud Certification (Solution Architect/DevOps Engineer)
