Role Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Project and Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects related to capital projects, maintenance, and engineering functions within the organization. Your role will involve managing budgets, coordinating process improvement efforts, prioritizing engineering projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the sites Capital Projects plan and budget. - Direct and prioritize the activities of direct staff, project engineers, and technical support personnel. - Coordinate process improvement efforts with plant leadership. - Establish engineering networks with other facilities, OEM, R&D, Marketing, and Corporate Engineering functions. - Manage the acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposition of building systems, production equipment, and furniture. - Analyze financial information, prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, and monitor revenues and expenditures. - Collaborate with all departments to achieve inventory, budget, and Plant financial goals. - Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP and ISO), safety policies, and quality assurance requirements. - Maintain process validation and drawing compliance. - Oversee regulatory compliance and hazard practices. Qualification Required: - B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 15 to 20 years of experience in Chemical/Pharma Company.
