Job Purpose IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Engineering Manager to join our growing team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our digital engineering team to deliver innovative and cutting-edge solutions for our digital banking platform. Roles & Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement digital banking solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet business needs Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment. Strong technical background in software development, with expertise in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, etc.) Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.) Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and promote a culture of continuous learning. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve processes. Collaborate with other engineering managers to align on best practices and ensure consistency across teams. Monitor and report on team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all software development activities. Education Qualification Graduation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field Experience: 10-18 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
