Engineering Head

We need an experienced Engineering Head / Plant Maintenance Manager to keep all factory utilities—HVAC, RO water plant, compressed-air system, boilers, chillers, and general mechanical services—running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Run Utilities: Lead daily operation and preventive maintenance of HVAC, RO, compressed air, boiler, chiller, WTP/ETP, and electrical panels.

• 
  Plan Maintenance: Build and follow a preventive-maintenance schedule; minimise breakdowns and downtime.

• 
  Team Leadership: Manage fitters, electricians, and contractors; set clear KPIs for safety, quality, and uptime.

• 
  Compliance & Safety: Maintain GMP, ISO, and statutory norms; ensure all utilities pass internal and external audits.

• 
  Budget Control: Track spares, energy costs, and projects; propose cost-saving upgrades.

• 
  Projects & Upgrades: Lead installation, commissioning, and validation of new machines, utility lines, and plant expansions.

• 
  Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on support to quickly solve HVAC, RO, boiler, or compressor failures.

• 
  Documentation: Keep logbooks, SOPs, and calibration records up to date for inspections.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 
  Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, RO plants, compressed-air compressors, steam boilers, chillers, pumps, and basic electricals.

• 
  Proven experience in preventive and predictive maintenance, utility audits, energy conservation, and spare-parts management.

• 
  Ability to read P&IDs, wiring drawings, and OEM manuals; good MS Excel skills for tracking data.

• 
  Solid understanding of GMP, safety, and statutory requirements for pharmaceutical plants.

• 
  Good communication and team-management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.

• 
  5+ years in plant-engineering, utilities, or maintenance roles—preferably in pharma, food, or process industries.

• 
  Past titles could include Plant Engineering Head, Maintenance Manager, Utilities Manager, Boiler Engineer, HVAC Engineer.
