The primary responsibilities (but not limited to) for a Sales engineer are listed below:
➢ Sales & Business development function
Study the incoming enquiries of Hydraulic systems and respond to customers in case of any
query.
Pre-proposal discussion with the customer to get a better understanding of project requirements and
create a unique value proposition by gaining their confidence.
With the help of the Technical team, prepare hydraulic circuit diagrams, select appropriate
components, prepare part list, and work out costing for the project.
Submit Techno-Commercial offer to customers and discuss any queries/alignments.
Discuss and align with the Company – Voith management to strategize the commercial proposal to
win the order.
Upon receipt of an order, prepare release documents and align with CFT for complete
information transfer for the project.
Support the design team in the document approval process
Support the operation team during the execution of the project if they have any challenges.
Support the finance team to align commercial aspects and the payment follow-up process with
customers.
Market Mapping for potential customers in the Indian market.
Expand business wings with new customer development.
Visit customers for strategic meetings and strengthen the Company's position.
Prepare competitor analysis to work on future business strategies.
Support Company management in creating a Great Place to Work.
