Engineer - Quality Assurance - Operation

The role of an Engineer - Quality Assurance Operation involves ensuring the smooth functioning of utility equipment in a manufacturing environment. Your expertise in maintenance, leadership, and technical skills will be crucial for maintaining peak performance. As an Engineer - Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for various tasks such as NDT (PT,VT,RT) and preferred welding processes like TIG, MIG. Additionally, having an ISO 9001-2015 Lead Auditor certification, handling customer complaints, customer witness inspections, and knowledge of tools like PPAP, FMEA, 8D, Poka-yoke, Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and TPM will be advantageous. Qualifications required for this role include a BE in Mechanical/Production from a reputed institute with 4 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Management. Fluency in English is mandatory, and leadership skills are essential to lead the team effectively in a collaborative manner. The ability to proactively collect and analyze quality data, perform root cause analysis, and facilitate solutions is also crucial. In this role, you will be expected to ensure the reliability and consistency of production processes and final output, maintain company quality standards, and meet all legal requirements. Monitoring quality assurance KPIs, developing action plans, following correct procedures to meet product specifications, and implementing quality assurance plans are key responsibilities. You will also be responsible for data collection, statistical reviews, record-keeping, and publishing quality MIS regularly. Experience in quality tools for problem-solving, product and process validation, compliance auditing, and supporting operations in root cause analysis are additional duties associated with this role. Candidates with a background in the automotive sector and willingness to work in shifts are preferred for this position.,
