Job Title: Performance Test Engineer -Server domain
Location: [Hyderabad]
Role Overview
We are seeking skilled
Performance Test Engineers
to validate and optimize the performance of our ARM-based server platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in benchmarking, workload analysis, and performance tuning for server-class systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance test plans for ARM-based server chips and platforms.
- Develop and maintain benchmarking suites, Applications like SPECint, DCPerf, Common Cloude workload and other custom workloads.
- Analyze system performance across compute, memory, storage, and network subsystems.
- Identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for software optimizations.
- Collaborate with Performance, and kernel to ensure optimal performance.
- Automate performance testing using scripting (Python, Bash).
- Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ARM architecture and server-class SoCs.
- Familiarity with profiling and tracing tools (perfetto, ftrace).
- Knowledge of benchmarking frameworks (SPEC,DCPerf etc ).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation.
- Experience with network and storage performance testing.
- Understanding of CPU microarchitecture concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Have
- Experience with power and thermal performance analysis.
