Engineer - Planning

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor production plans in alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements.
• Ensure efficient scheduling of orders to meet delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with various departments (Production, Purchase, Quality, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution.
• Plan and allocate resources (materials, manpower, and machines) effectively to meet production targets.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels to support production requirements and minimize overstock.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings for accurate planning and coordination.
• Prepare and maintain planning documents and reports using MS Office tools and SAP.
• Track production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
• Communicate regularly with all relevant stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of production planning and control processes
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in inventory management and resource planning
• Knowledge of order scheduling techniques and tools

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
