Graduate in Mechanical Engg
Core experience/skills
Mid-level; 5-7 years of experience in design/R&D or engineering of escalator or Elevator products or experience in product development with exposure to product cycle management. Preferably Escalator background is added advantage.
Ability to analyze and provide data-driven decisions, Strategic thinking
Strong people skills
Experience
Working knowledge of General Arrangement Drawings, components listing, interfacing in Mechanical CAD, CREO, 3D Modelling software, Solid works.
Understanding of layouts. VBA/MS office macros development is added advantage
. Creates design drawings (M-drawings) as requested based on products offering with reference building plans
. Modifies the Bill of Material for the equipment and selects customer specific components when necessary.
. As a member of an engineering team, shares his/her knowledge and skills with colleagues and participates actively in meetings and workshops.
. Works independently on the assigned tasks and delivers the required results on time.
. Identifies and selects the components required for the solution and designs the individual
components to meet customer specific requirements.
Experience in managing product lifecycle.
Experience in engineering, business development and sales/data analysis on market or competitor
