Job Description

Role Overview: As the EMS Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and creating cost reduction projects at key EMS suppliers in Asia and Europe. You will also handle relationships with all key EMS suppliers of assigned products/services for the Systems & Solutions Group. Additionally, you will collaborate with Integration Center supply chain and operational teams to ensure optimized supply chain setup within assigned categories. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible as the single point of contact and ownership of EMS relationship and production attainment - Manage and create cost reduction projects and targets at key EMS suppliers in Asia and Europe - Handle relationships with all key EMS suppliers of assigned products/services for the Systems & Solutions Group - Collaborate with Integration Center supply chain and operational teams to optimize supply chain setup within assigned categories - Navigate and analyze complex data to identify opportunities - Establish reasons supporting sourcing recommendations - Lead strategic supplier relationships and performance improvements - Develop, negotiate, and implement regional supplier contracts - Support Electrical System assembly sites Integration Centers by owning key supplier relationships - Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies to exceed business objectives - Support supplier consolidation initiatives through identifying best cost suppliers - Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with Key suppliers to drive continuous improvement - Set individual objectives, monitor progress, and ensure objectives are met - Ensure new product introduction meets business objectives - Report on key performance measures and take appropriate action - Ensure compliance to ethical, regulatory, and compliance regulations Qualifications Required: - Expertise in contract negotiation and risk analysis - Good presentation skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated with good project and resource management skills - Ability to lead a team and adapt to change - Willingness to travel regionally and globally Company Details: At Emerson, they prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
