Employment Lawyer

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Employment Lawyer to advise on all aspects of employment law and workplace compliance. The Employment Lawyer will support the business in managing employee relations, drafting employment agreements, handling disputes, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. This role will act as a trusted advisor to HR, leadership, and management teams.

• Provide legal advice on employment law matters, including contracts, policies, workplace disputes, and compliance.
• Draft, review, and update employment agreements, HR policies, and employee handbooks.
• Advise HR and management on disciplinary actions, terminations, and grievance procedures.
• Represent the company in employment-related negotiations, mediations, or legal proceedings.
• Monitor changes in labor laws, regulations, and industry standards; ensure policies are updated accordingly.
• Support investigations into workplace issues (harassment, discrimination, misconduct).
• Manage employment-related litigation, working with external counsel when required.
• Conduct training sessions for HR and leadership on employment law compliance and best practices.
• Advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions (M&A, restructuring, downsizing).
• Proven experience as an Employment Lawyer, Labor Counsel, or HR Legal Advisor
• Strong knowledge of local and international employment and labor laws.
• Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication abilities.
• Ability to balance risk management with business objectives.
• High ethical standards, discretion, and integrity.
