Job Description

Job Title: Embedded Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer with a strong background in Embedded C++ development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in microcontroller driver development and application development using RTOS and Embedded Linux platforms. Familiarity with wireless protocols such as MQTT, ZigBee, and LoRa is advantageous. The role requires expertise in Embedded bus protocols and a solid understanding of analog and digital hardware interfacing with microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded applications using C++.
Work on microcontroller driver development and firmware development, particularly with Renesas, Microchip, and ST microcontrollers.
Utilize tools like GitHub and JIRA for version and source control.
Debug using tools such as ICE, GDB, JTAG, and chip programmers.
Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustenance projects, ensuring adherence to process standards.
Design and develop embedded software with a focus on programming techniques and system platforms.
Collaborate effectively with a team and work independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills

5 + years of experience in Embedded C++ application development.
Proficiency in RTOS, Embedded Linux, and middleware application development.
Knowledge of wireless protocols like MQTT, ZigBee, and LoRa.
Strong exposure to Embedded bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
Experience with Renesas, Microchip, and ST microcontrollers.
Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, or similar version/source control tools.
Excellent debugging skills using ICE, GDB, JTAG, and chip programmers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and presentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and in team settings.
Knowledge of Six Sigma Methodologies or equivalent.
Understanding of Fire Detection Systems or similar systems.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to engage and motivate technical teams.
