Key Responsibilities:

Email Security Administration:

• Manage and configure email security tools, including Mimecast, Proofpoint, Checkpoint and other related technologies.
• Monitor and respond to email security alerts, including phishing attempts, malware, spam, and other email-borne threats.
• Develop and enforce email security policies and procedures to protect the organization from potential threats.

Threat Analysis & Incident Response:

• Conduct detailed analysis of email-based security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation steps.
• Collaborate with the IT security team to investigate and resolve email security breaches.
• Perform regular audits and assessments of email security configurations and policies.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure email security solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Generate reports on email security metrics, incidents, and trends for management review.
• Participate in security audits and contribute to the development of compliance documentation.

User Education & Support:

• Provide training and support to end-users on recognizing and avoiding email threats such as phishing and social engineering attacks.
• Assist the IT support team with email security-related issues and escalations.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest email security trends, threats, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing email security infrastructure and tools.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure optimal performance of email security solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
