Job Description

GFU is responsible for the cross divisional planning, control and creation of all activities relating to the overall functional scope of all functions of the platform and functions of the Classic architecture in Skoda vehicle projects.
At the same time as the platform GFU ensures the communication, transfer of information and implementation of platform functions scope with GFU of the user brands.
The responsibility includes a coordination of development processes and the resolution of target conflicts and technical interface problems.
The GFU leads methodically the functional cluster speakers for platform architecture within the framework of technical development.
Coordinates collection of requirements form various Engg. departments
Cooperates with the technical project management for the corresponding platforms and hats.
The responsibility includes an average of 400 E/E functions, which are part of the overall scope of functions for the respective vehicle projects and the platform scope including the early process of creation and definition of functions (establishment and creation of Functionslist, Functions catalogue, etc.).
Is responsible for the definition, approval and compliance with the logical and technical dependencies of the platform functions scope including the integration into vehicle project with earliest SOP.
Ensures the presentation of the functional maturity of the architecture for the platform and relevant vehicle project in all relevant committees, including escalation responsibility for the appropriate scope.
Coordinates release approval of system functionalities with in vehicleprojects
Supervises application of legislations requirement from E/E point of view as per VW group requirement
Schedule management (determining, tracking) , Prepare Vehicle specs considering vehicle functions
Leadership skill, Technical prjoect managment experience
Representing teams in larger forum or senior management, Delivery managment , PDLC knowledge, People Managment
Organising Engg. team regular meetings & tracking/driving of closure of topics.
Create detailed project status Cost, Quality, Timing
Create Engg. budget status report & close tracking
