Electronics Engineer – Production

Job Summary:
The Electronics Engineer - Production is responsible for ensuring the overall manufacturing quality of in-process, semi-finished, finished & PDI process of the company. This role will have an expertise in diagnosing and repairing faults in an electronic circuit. He / She will be responsible for performing root cause analysis, component level repairs and ensuring the functionality and quality of the products manufactured.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PCB-level soldering and rework on SMD and through-hole components using manual and automated tools.
• Conduct functional testing and servicing of electronic assemblies and sub-systems.
• Collaborate with design and QA teams to resolve production-level faults and improve build quality.
• Apply technical expertise to identify the root causes of failure in the electronic circuits and propose solutions.
• Interpret schematics, BOMs, and layout drawings to guide assembly and troubleshooting.
• Maintain production documentation, including test reports, service logs, and component traceability.
• Operate and maintain diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and reflow stations.
• Support NPD (New Product Development) and provide feedback for design-for-manufacturability (DFM).
• Work closely with the manufacturing and design teams to ensure products are designed as per the quality standards and ensure that the test plans are followed.
• Train junior technicians on best practices in soldering, handling, and ESD safety.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in manual soldering of fine-pitch SMD and through-hole components.
• Strong understanding of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, etc.).
• Experience with PCB servicing, including fault isolation and component-level repair.
• Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and cleanroom protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Knowledge of rework techniques, including hot air reflow.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller-based boards (a plus).

Qualifications:

• Diploma, ITI or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Hands on experience with circuit-level testing and proficiency in troubleshooting techniques will be an advantage.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics production or servicing will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
