Job Title: Service Technician - Security & Networking Systems (CCTV, Alarm, Wi-Fi, Biometrics) Location: Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu Company: Kay Arr Equipments Job Summary: Kay Arr Equipments is seeking skilled and motivated Service Technicians to join our expanding team in Tiruppur. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of electronic security and networking systems, including CCTV surveillance, burglar alarm systems, Wi-Fi access points, and biometric access control. This role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Installation: Install CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related cabling and accessories according to specifications and industry best practices. Install and configure wired and wireless burglar alarm systems, including control panels, sensors (motion, door/window contacts), and sirens. Set up and configure Wi-Fi access points, routers, and network infrastructure for optimal performance and security. Install and configure biometric access control systems, including fingerprint scanners, facial recognition devices, and card readers. Ensure all installations are performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to CCTV, alarm systems, Wi-Fi networks, and biometric devices. Repair or replace faulty components and equipment as needed. Provide technical support to customers on-site and remotely. Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers, explaining technical issues and solutions clearly. Provide training to customers on the basic operation of their installed systems. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective service delivery. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance work, and service calls. Complete necessary paperwork and reports in a timely manner. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electronic security and networking. Participate in training programs as required. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems, burglar alarms, Wi-Fi networks, and biometric access control systems. Strong understanding of electronic principles, wiring, and network configurations. Familiarity with various brands and models of CCTV cameras, alarm panels, Wi-Fi equipment, and biometric devices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
