Electrician

Job Purpose:

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit layouts.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, lighting, motors, control panels, and equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding on electrical circuits and equipment.
• Ensure proper earthing, grounding, and cable terminations.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools (multimeter, megger, etc.) to verify functionality and safety.
• Comply with electrical codes, standards, and company safety policies.
• Support other departments during equipment installation and commissioning.
• Maintain logs, records, and reports of electrical works carried out.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.

Skills and Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial environment.
• Knowledge of electrical standards (IE Rules, NEC, IEC).
• Hands-on experience in wiring, conduit installation, and cable management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults independently.
• Awareness of lockout-tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in shifts, at heights, or in confined spaces if required.
• Comfortable handling tools, ladders, and electrical equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹750.00 - ₹900.00 per day
