To oversee and support the execution of all electrical works in the AI/Data Centre project, ensuring installations meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves supervising contractors, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful commissioning and handover of electrical systems
1. Supervise on-site electrical works including power distribution, UPS, switchgear, cabling, and lighting systems to ensure compliance with design and specifications.
2. Work closely with civil, mechanical, and IT/MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall infrastructure.
3. Assist in inspection, testing, and commissioning of critical electrical systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with required standards.
4. Monitor workmanship and material quality, enforce safety protocols, and ensure adherence to electrical codes and data centre standards.
5. Maintain accurate records including inspection reports, test certificates, as-built drawings, and daily/weekly progress reports.
6. Identify technical challenges, provide solutions, and coordinate with contractors or vendors to resolve electrical issues efficiently.
7. Ensure all electrical works are complete, tested, and handed over as per project quality and procedural standards.
