Electrical Maintenance Technician

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and fixing faulty equipment, fixtures, and building systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. You will also perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and minimize breakdowns. Additionally, carrying out minor building repairs including carpentry, painting, and landscaping will be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues and assess their condition. - Test systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and up to standards. - Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed. - Maintain records of equipment, supplies, and maintenance schedules. - Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while performing tasks. - Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and repair supplies. - Respond to maintenance requests and work orders from staff or management. - Communicate with supervisors, team members, and external specialists/contractors when necessary. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in repairs and maintenance preferred. - Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
