Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complete

    electrical architecture

    for

    unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)

    , covering power requirements, redundancy, and interface layouts.
  • Perform

    power distribution analysis

    , ensuring lightweight, efficient, and fail-safe operation in air-borne conditions.
  • Develop, test, and validate

    Li-ion/Li-Po battery packs

    and

    Battery Management Systems (BMS)

    for flight platforms.
  • Design and integrate

    Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs)

    ,

    motors

    , and

    payload power systems

    with flight controllers (Pixhawk, Cube, STM32, etc.).
  • Create

    electrical schematics, wiring harnesses

    , and

    PCB layouts

    in Altium or KiCad for UAV modules.
  • Conduct

    EMI/EMC, thermal, and endurance testing

    as per MIL-STD and aviation standards.
  • Collaborate with

    avionics, mechanical, and software engineers

    to optimize UAV performance and reliability.
  • Participate in

    prototype assembly, testing, and field validation

    .
  • Ensure compliance with

    MIL-STD, EMI/EMC

    , and safety protocols.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech

    in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years

    hands-on experience in

    electrical design or embedded electronics

    (preferably UAV, robotics, or automotive).
  • Strong understanding of

    analog/digital circuit design

    ,

    power supply systems

    ,

    microcontrollers

    , and

    CAN/I2C/UART protocols

    .
  • Expertise in

    PCB design (Altium/KiCad)

    , library management, and high-current/low-weight design rules.
  • Working knowledge of

    BLDC & PMSM motors

    ,

    ESC calibration

    , and

    propulsion system interfacing

    .
  • Experience in

    battery pack design

    (mechanical, electrical, and thermal) and

    BMS integration

  • Familiarity with

    data acquisition tools

    oscilloscopes

    military-grade cable & harness design

    is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of
