Electrical Engineer

An Electrical Engineer in a steel Ispat plant maintains, troubleshoots, and installs electrical systems like generators, motors, and control panels and other heavy equipment. Key duties include performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, analyzing electrical faults to minimize downtime, and managing spare parts inventory to support continuous production in a demanding industrial environment. Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair:
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, control panels and other heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults or malfunctions in electrical systems to ensure quick resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for electrical equipment failures to prevent future occurrences.
• System Operation & Monitoring:
• Operate and monitor all electrical systems and equipment during assigned work and shifts.
• Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of critical electrical components in machinery.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure electrical systems comply with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for electrical maintenance activities.
• Project Support:
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and upgrades.
• Inventory & Reporting:
• Maintain a detailed inventory of spare electrical parts and components.
• Generate reports on maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and project status.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of heavy industrial electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Experience in a high-volume, automated production environment, preferably in a steel or heavy manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in fault finding and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a heavy industrial setting.

Experience:

• total work: 5-10 year (Preferred)

Age limit:

• 28-45 yrs (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical engineering, , or similar (Relevant)Preferred.

Skills/Requirement's:

• knowledge of deep Electrical Work Knowledge, fault finding, troubleshooting electrical equipment and others.

Salary:

• between 20k-35k
