Installation and Commissioning Oversee entire process of machine installation. Measure critical values and make sure they are within tolerance before machine handover. Prepare and update commissioning checklist and make sure all points are met. Solve any kind of issue arising during commissioning. Performing routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure their efficient operation Coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient operation of equipment Maintaining daily logs and records of maintenance activities 2. Maintenance, operation work, Repairs and Modification. Experience : total work: 5-10 year (Preferred) Age limit: 28-45 yrs (preferred) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical engineering, , or similar (Relevant)Preferred. An Electrical Engineer in a steel Ispat plant maintains, troubleshoots, and installs electrical systems like generators, motors, and control panels and other heavy equipment. Key duties include performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, analyzing electrical faults to minimize downtime, and managing spare parts inventory to support continuous production in a demanding industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, control panels and other heavy equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults or malfunctions in electrical systems to ensure quick resolution. Conduct root cause analysis for electrical equipment failures to prevent future occurrences. System Operation & Monitoring: Operate and monitor all electrical systems and equipment during assigned work and shifts. Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of critical electrical components in machinery. Safety & Compliance: Ensure electrical systems comply with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards. Implement and enforce safety protocols for electrical maintenance activities. Project Support: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and upgrades. Inventory & Reporting: Maintain a detailed inventory of spare electrical parts and components. Generate reports on maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and project status. Required Skills and Experience Strong understanding of heavy industrial electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation. Experience in a high-volume, automated production environment, preferably in a steel or heavy manufacturing setting. Proficiency in fault finding and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
